Wallace County Conservation District Cost Share

The Wallace County Conservation District is offering financial support for water-saving improvements on your property beginning September 1, 2026. First come, first served until funds are expended. 

How to Apply

  • Complete the application form available at the Wallace County Conservation District Office
  • Attach your receipt and a photo of the installed practice
  • Include documentation of the water-saving feature

Program Highlights

  • Cost Share: Up to 50% of actual cost or $1,000 (whichever is less)
  • Improve water quantity/quality in Wallace County
  • Easy application process for cost share consideration

Eligible Practices

  • Water testing
  • Water saving shower head
  • Hose timer
  • Water leak detection
  • Leak detection system
  • Rain barrels
  • Reverse osmosis system
  • Xeriscaping
  • Conversion from blue grass to buffalo grass
  • Installation of underground sprinkler system (residential)
  • Moisture sensing device for underground sprinklers (residential)
  • Drilling domestic water well
