The Scott County Conservation District and the Ground Water Management District No. 1, in partnership with the Natural Resources Conservation Service, will host a Conservation Easement Open House on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.

This event will provide landowners, agricultural producers, and community members with an opportunity to learn more about conservation easement programs, how they work, and the benefits they offer for protecting natural resources. Representatives from each organization will be available to answer questions, share program details, and discuss how easements can help preserve land for future generations.

The come-and-go open house will be at: Child Advocacy Center from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
